Buggin' Out
Making the bugs is half the fun! The set comes with three distinctly different plasti-goop colors, encouraging kids to come up with festive or freaky new bug combinations. Using the goop FX detailing pens and three detailing tips, bug-makers can scorch the shades and shapes of each scorpion claw and every wormy body segment. A goop FX pick is also included for pulling the bugs out of the trays.
Twice the Fun in Half the Time
The new and improved Creepy Crawlers creates up to 40 bugs -- twice as many twisted creatures in just half the time. The brightly colored oven is almost as fun as the bug-making process itself, with a gross wriggling crawler on top for inspiration. There are also bug-covered holders on the sides that store the double-use spatula and cooling tray. Made with durable plastic, the oven, trays, and spatula are child-safe and stand up to hours of experimentation in the bug laboratory. This classic boy's toy is recommended for kids 8 to 12 years old. The oven requires a 60-watt small base light bulb, sold separately, but available in virtually any grocery store.

The toy is fantastic, the bulb sells seperately for like a dollar no biggie and we have had ours for two years and for a 7 year old boy that in itself is amazing! The plastic is durable, quality cord, the heat is self contained so no worries on burning a floor or a table, the bulb lasts along time, the molds are easy to use good heavyweight and durable, they clean well, the lids on the goop fit well and the supplies do not dry out unless left open for long durations..ALL PLUSES!!!

This toy NEVER WORKED. We tried several bulbs. I then tried to return the toy and and found that since I had bought it a couple of months before my son's birhtday that I "could not" return it. What a HORRIBLE gift. If you want to buy this, DO NOT BUY it. I had one of these as a kid and loved it, but this version is HORRIBLE. STAY AWAY from it AT ALL COSTS. Fun toy. Little educational value, maybe only teaching colours, responsibility, safety,sharing. Requires the 60 watt small base candelabra bulbs 3-4.00$. Some reviews have said the oven smells up the house. My son uses it out side.

Beware this toy is not worth the money! Nowhere on the box does it say the light bulb to heat the bugs is not included. We got this toy as a gift for a child in our family and is was very disappointing. How cheap can the maker be to sell a toy that does not include the needed hardware to make it work. It is one thing to have an electronics toy that says batteries not included, you expect that; and you just include the batteries with the gift. No warning with this toy. What a disappointment!
